Beautiful Country House with guest cottage

A beautiful rustic-style country house with a guest cottage near the white village of Gaucin, Andalusia, Spain. With stunning views of the Mediterranean and Morocco. Access to the property is through a concrete road, leading to the entrance gate. Ample parking near the house. The main door opens to an entrance hall which connects directly to an open-plan sitting/dining room and lounge. It has an open fireplace, wood storage room, and doors that open up to the covered terrace for outside dining. Truly idyllic!

From the hall towards the back of the house you find the kitchen with a cosy breakfast corner. A small courtyard on the back for laundry, that also a storage. On the ground floor there also 2 spacious bedrooms. One with a bathroom on the hallway and the second with bathroom en-suite. The latter has French window-doors opening towards the covered terrace. On the first floor you find the large master suite with en-suite bathroom. French window-doors open to the balconies, boasting spectacular views over the surrounding countryside towards the coast.

This country home is styled with gorgeous Andalusian details. Wooden beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, hand painted tiles in the bathrooms and beautiful wooden doors to name but a few. It is traditional, authentic and truly charming!

A pathway leads to a separate guest cottage with suite bedroom and bathroom. This is currently in use as a storage area and would need some work before it can be used again as a suite. Wooden steps from the main house lead the way to the pool area beneath the house. The pool has a beautiful and ample terrace where you can enjoy the sun. Also from here, you get the best lookout over the Rio Genal valley. In the distance you can see the shining Mediterranean Sea as well as the African mountains!

The garden has a variety of flowerbeds with roses and Bougainville. In front of the terrace there is a lawned area for the children to play, or for a relaxing morning yoga session, or even for simple sunbathing. The almond grove is at the back of the house.

The house has central heating throughout with radiators fired by a diesel heater, has mains water, mains electricity, internet WIFI and double-glazing. The villa can be sold furnished. The village Gaucin is 35 minutes from the beach, 40 minutes from Sotogrande and Marbella, and 1,5 hours from Malaga airport.
